Team Altai Mountain are thrilled to welcome Canadian International and Liverpool FC Goalkeeper, Rylee Foster to the squad.
Rylee, 24, has one of modern sports most inspirational stories and we had the absolute pleasure of meeting this incredible human being to get an exclusive interview where she reveals the shocking details of escaping certain death and returning to the football pitch less than two years later.
We caught up with the Canadian shot stopper to chat Liverpool legends, living out her childhood dreams and life as a pro baller, before she describes in detail the freak event which not only changed the path of her career, but also her life, forever.
Through her heroic battle against all odds to fully recover without any surgery, Rylee discovered the healing properties of Shilajit.
Rylee has been using Shilajit for the past year to aid her recovery from multiple severe bodily injuries but also to help with the mental battles that accompany such a traumatic event.
Rylee talks about how important taking Shilajit has been during an intensive rehabilitation programme where she has rebuilt herself from the pits of despair all the way back to pitch.
WHAT A HERO!
Rylee grew up in Ontario, Canada but with family roots in Liverpool was a red from an early age following a lineage of Liverpool fans in the family. Rylee pulled on the goalie gloves for the first time from a young age and has been destined to protect the nets ever since.
Fast forward a few years and Rylee has represented her country in World Championships and finds herself staring at her own name on the shirt of the club she supported since the days of diving around in the back yard and now walking out onto the same pitch as her childhood heroes at Liverpool FC making her debut in the Womens Super League.
But Rylee's progression was suddenly stunted as she has been forced to sit on the sidelines for almost 2 years after breaking her neck in 7 places in a car crash.
With injuries bad enough to put most people in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives, Rylee now looks forward to making her professional football return after wearing a halo for almost a year and miraculously recovering. Rylee is one of the most amazing people I've had the chance to meet and I am sincerely moved by her story and impressed with her attitude to life and mental strength. A recovery like this goes to show just how the powers of our minds and nature of our thoughts can effect our health, and that no obstacle is too big too overcome as long as you have the mental grit to face it, show up every day and do the work!
